These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and APPIKO LTD ("Appiko," "Repscroll," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of the Repscroll mobile application, website, and related services.
APPIKO LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16800427. Our registered office is Suite 10079 5 Brayford Square, London, United Kingdom, E1 0SG.
By using Repscroll, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Repscroll.
Repscroll helps users build healthier phone habits by connecting screen-time access to physical activity, goals, stats, alarms, reminders, social challenges, and other habit tools.
Depending on your settings and permissions, Repscroll may use Screen Time or Family Controls, camera-counted exercises, Apple Health data, notifications, alarms, subscriptions, leaderboards, squads, badges, invite links, and related app features.
Repscroll is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Repscroll is not intended for children under 13. You may not use Repscroll if you are under 13.
If you are 13 to 17, you may use Repscroll only with permission from your parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian is responsible for your use of Repscroll and for reviewing these Terms and our Privacy Policy with you.
We may ask for your age range to provide age-appropriate privacy settings and to comply with laws. We may restrict certain features for younger users, including advertising attribution, tracking, public leaderboards, friend or squad invite links, and other social features.
Parents or guardians may contact us at privacy@repscroll.com to request deletion or restriction of a minor's data.
Repscroll uses anonymous Firebase authentication. We do not require an email address, password, or third-party sign-in to create your Repscroll account. Your app data is linked to an anonymous account identifier and may also be associated with a support ID shown in the app.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. If you uninstall Repscroll without deleting your account or saving your support ID, we may not be able to identify, restore, or delete the anonymous account later.
You can delete your account in the app through Settings -> Account & Data -> Delete Repscroll Account. You may also contact privacy@repscroll.com for help with deletion or data rights requests.
Repscroll needs certain iOS permissions to provide specific features.
Screen Time / Family Controls. Repscroll requires Screen Time or Family Controls access to block and unblock the apps you select. If you do not grant this access, Repscroll's core blocking and unlocking feature will not work.
Camera. Camera access is required only for camera-counted exercises such as pushups, planks, or crunches. If you do not grant camera access, you can still use supported non-camera earning methods, such as step-based earning where available.
HealthKit / Apple Health. Health permissions are required for step-count or distance-based earning and for writing completed workouts or active energy to Apple Health. You can manage Health permissions in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
Notifications and Alarms. Notifications and AlarmKit permissions are used for reminders and alarm-lock features. If you do not grant these permissions, those reminder or alarm features will not work, but other available app features may still work.
Tracking. App Tracking Transparency permission is optional. We do not require tracking permission to use Repscroll.
You are responsible for deciding whether Repscroll's exercises and activity goals are safe for you. Stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other symptoms that concern you.
Consult a qualified medical professional before using Repscroll if you have a medical condition, injury, disability, pregnancy-related concern, or any other health concern that could be affected by exercise. You assume the risks of physical activity to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Repscroll offers auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Before you subscribe, the app will show the subscription name, features included, subscription period, price, renewal terms, free trial or promotional terms if any, and cancellation information.
Your subscription is billed by Apple to your Apple Account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, your subscription will automatically renew and Apple will charge your Apple Account for the next period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app or deleting your Repscroll account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.
If you start a free trial or promotional offer, it will convert to a paid subscription at the price and period shown at purchase unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends.
Apple controls refunds for purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase. Repscroll cannot issue Apple IAP refunds directly. If Apple asks us for information to evaluate a refund request, we may provide limited purchase and usage information, such as transaction ID, product ID, subscription status, cumulative spend, and relevant app usage during the subscription period.
Repscroll includes optional social features, including leaderboards, display names or usernames, badges, levels, rep counts, workout totals, friend or squad challenges, and invite links. If you join these features, your display name or username, badge, level, leaderboard position, challenge participation, rep counts, workout totals, and related activity stats may be visible to other users or invitees.
Do not use your real name, email address, phone number, school name, home address, social media handle, or other information you do not want others to see as your display name or username.
Repscroll's social features do not let users upload images or videos. You may not choose a display name, username, or invite link that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, harassing, misleading, infringing, invasive of privacy, impersonating another person, or otherwise harmful.
We may show and update leaderboard, challenge, and activity stats as part of the social features. We may remove or change display names, usernames, invite links, or accounts that we believe violate these Terms, harm users, impersonate someone, contain contact information, are abusive, infringe rights, or are otherwise inappropriate.
You may not:
Repscroll, including its software, design, branding, content, and technology, is owned by Appiko or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Repscroll for your own lawful, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from Repscroll unless we give you written permission or the law allows it.
Repscroll depends on third-party services and Apple platform technologies. These may include Firebase/Google services, Mixpanel, Superwall, Apple App Store purchases, Apple Health, Apple Search Ads, App Tracking Transparency, Screen Time/Family Controls, AlarmKit, and advertising attribution systems, including Repscroll's own attribution servers and AdBack where enabled.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Repscroll if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or Repscroll, or if we are required to do so by law or platform rules.
You may stop using Repscroll at any time. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions, as described above.
Repscroll is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that Repscroll will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device or iOS version, or available at all times. Screen Time, Family Controls, HealthKit, AlarmKit, App Store purchases, and other Apple platform features may change or become unavailable outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appiko and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to Repscroll or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Repscroll in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limits may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Appiko and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of Repscroll or your violation of these Terms.
This section applies only to users located in the United States.
Before filing a claim, you and Appiko agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. The party raising the dispute must send written notice to legal@repscroll.com describing the claim, the requested relief, and enough information to identify the relevant Repscroll account or transaction. The parties will have 30 days to try to resolve the dispute.
If the dispute is not resolved, either party may require the dispute to be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer arbitration rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
You and Appiko waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding, except where prohibited by law.
You may opt out by emailing legal@repscroll.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Your opt-out email must include your name if available, your Repscroll account identifier or support ID if available, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
If 25 or more substantially similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the assistance of the same law firm, organization, coordinated group, or related representatives, the demands will be treated as mass filings. The parties agree to staged filing, batching, bellwether or sample proceedings where permitted, coordinated mediation, and staged payment of arbitration fees as directed by the arbitration provider, a process arbitrator, or a court.
This arbitration section does not limit non-waivable consumer rights, public injunctive relief rights where not waivable, or rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Except for the U.S. arbitration section above and any non-waivable local consumer protections, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where courts are required and local law permits, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under the laws of your country, state, or province of residence.
If you downloaded Repscroll from the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply:
Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Appiko, not Apple. Appiko, not Apple, is responsible for Repscroll and its content.
Scope of License. Your license to use Repscroll is limited to a non-transferable license to use Repscroll on Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and applicable Usage Rules.
Maintenance and Support. Appiko is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for Repscroll. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Repscroll.
Warranty. To the extent any warranty exists under applicable law and is not effectively disclaimed, Appiko is solely responsible for that warranty. If Repscroll fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, for Repscroll. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Repscroll.
Product Claims. Appiko, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to Repscroll, including product-liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, consumer-protection claims, and claims that Repscroll fails to conform to applicable legal requirements.
Intellectual Property Claims. If a third party claims that Repscroll or your use of Repscroll infringes that party's intellectual property rights, Appiko, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging the claim.
Legal Compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Developer Contact. Appiko may be contacted at legal@repscroll.com and Suite 10079 5 Brayford Square, London, United Kingdom, E1 0SG.
Third-Party Terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Repscroll.
Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of Repscroll after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Appiko about Repscroll.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, labor disputes, natural disasters, war, government actions, platform changes, or network failures.
