1. Summary

Repscroll helps users earn access to selected apps through exercise, steps, goals, stats, alarms, reminders, and social features.

We use anonymous Firebase authentication. We do not require an email address, password, or third-party sign-in to create a Repscroll account. If you contact support, we may collect the email address and other information you choose to provide.

Repscroll uses on-device body pose detection for camera-counted exercises. In the production version of Repscroll, we do not upload camera frames, images, body pose landmarks, or workout videos to our servers.

We do not use Apple Health or HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, sale, or use-based data mining, and we do not share HealthKit data with advertising or attribution providers.

Repscroll's social features are limited to usernames, leaderboards, rep counts, workout stats, challenges, badges, levels, and invite links. Users do not upload images or videos through these features.

2. Information We Collect

Account and Identifiers

  • anonymous Firebase account identifier;
  • internal user ID, support ID, or installation ID;
  • device identifiers such as IDFV, and IDFA only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission where applicable;
  • IP address, app version, device model, operating system, language, region, and diagnostic identifiers.

Profile, Leaderboard, and Social Data

If you use social features, we may collect and display:

  • display name or username, badge, level, leaderboard position, squad or challenge participation, invite links, rep counts, workout totals, and related activity stats;
  • username changes, reports about usernames or leaderboard entries, and moderation actions if those features are used.

Do not use your real name, email address, phone number, school name, home address, social media handle, or other information you do not want others to see as your display name or username.

Fitness, Workout, and App Activity

  • exercise type, repetition count, workout duration, form score, completed workouts, active energy, streaks, goals, levels, badges, and progress stats;
  • earned screen-time minutes, lock and unlock events, selected apps or app categories, challenge results, alarm-lock events, reminder events, and related app interactions;
  • onboarding responses, permission status, session activity, feature usage, paywall interactions, subscription status, and settings.

Screen Time / Family Controls

With your permission, Repscroll uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to block and unblock the apps you select. We may process selected app or category tokens, authorization status, lock and unlock state, earned access, and related events needed to provide the feature.

We do not collect the specific content you view inside other apps.

Camera and Body Pose Detection

Repscroll uses your device's camera to estimate body pose landmarks on your device so the app can count exercises and verify workout completion. This processing is performed locally on your device.

Repscroll does not use facial recognition, does not identify you from your face, and does not create a faceprint or biometric identifier for identity verification.

In the production version of Repscroll, we do not upload camera frames, images, body pose landmarks, or workout videos to our servers. We may receive derived workout results, such as exercise type, repetition count, workout duration, form score, earned screen-time minutes, and related app events.

You can disable camera access in iOS Settings. If camera access is disabled, camera-counted exercises will not work, but supported non-camera earning methods may still be available.

Apple Health and HealthKit

With your permission, Repscroll reads step count and walking, running, or cycling distance from Apple Health to calculate screen-time minutes you can earn. With your permission, Repscroll may also write completed workouts and active energy to Apple Health.

We use Apple Health data only to provide fitness, screen-time earning, progress, and workout features to you. We do not use Apple Health or HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, sale, or use-based data mining. We do not share HealthKit data with advertising or attribution providers.

You can grant, deny, or revoke Health permissions in Apple Health or iOS Settings.

Notifications and AlarmKit

With your permission, Repscroll may send notifications and schedule alarms for reminders, morning exercise flows, alarm-lock features, streaks, challenges, and related app events. You can manage notifications and alarm permissions in iOS Settings.

Purchases and Subscriptions

If you buy a subscription or other in-app purchase through Apple, we may receive purchase and subscription information, such as product ID, transaction ID, subscription status, renewal or expiration status, refund status, promotional offer status, and cumulative spend.

If Apple asks us for information to evaluate a refund request, we may provide limited purchase and usage information, such as transaction ID, product ID, subscription status, cumulative spend, and relevant app usage during the subscription period.

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, support ID, account identifier, device details, screenshots, and the contents of your message.
